The Blooze Brothers

For three decades, the Blooze Brothers has been one of Chicagoland’s most in-demand show bands.  We not only honor the music made by the original Blues Brothers in movies, TV, and recordings, but the spirit in which they played – from Dan Aykroyd’s love of traditional blues and soul to John Belushi’s love of classic rock.  Like Aykroyd and Belushi, we fuse those great musical traditions into a stage show that energizes and delights hundreds of thousands of music fans across the greater Chicago area and beyond every year.

We’ve got gas in the Blooze Mobile, a briefcase full of rhythm and blues, and are headed toward the on ramp for the expressway to your heart.

We hope to see you very, very soon.

The Landlocked Sailor

Some of my favorite memories are of sitting around a campfire on a beach in Kansas while my dad played the guitar and sang. The moonlight, the stars, and the fire all danced together on the water, while the rest of us danced on the sand.

There was some country, a little classic rock, and a whole lot of Jimmy Buffett. Years later, when I picked up my own guitar, I could feel all those influences come through me in the music I played and the stories I told.

Whether it’s a song about life, love, or the lack of, I want to take listeners to their own place where worries fade and solutions become more clear. I may not be able to make problems disappear, but as the Landlocked Sailor I do know how to find a beach, even in the middle of Kansas!

Mark Mireles

Trop Rockin’ Magazines 2019 People’s Choice Award – Musician Of The Year!

Heather Vidal

Heather Vidal has evolved into a singer/songwriter who has spent the past 25 years performing with an acoustic duo called Copper Sky.  At the same time she has been a collaborator with several musicians in the TropRock genre including Dennis McCaughey, who opened doors to the Parrot Head community fundraisers and house concerts which are held all over the country.

With these wonderful connections, she is now branching out on her own at the ripe old age of… She writes her own music as well as interprets almost any genre of song.  Heather’s keen sense of melody and timing allows her to share a unique interpretation of a writer’s material while honoring the artist’s message.

Heather travels extensively during the year performing throughout the mid-Atlantic region, Ireland, Colorado, and Key West. She connects with people everywhere she goes with the help of her soulful voice and legitimate guitar playing.  She has become a regular “house concert” performer throughout the U.S. which allows her to share her time and music with friends in a more personal and meaningful setting.

Heather’s latest album entitled “Back Home” is dedicated to her cousin Jackie Elliott who lost her battle with breast cancer in May 2019.  Jackie, a hospice nurse,  became an inspiration to many because of her bravery and willingness to write about her experiences while living and dying with the disease.   Jackie was an advocate for change, particularly in our medical community, which struggles to grasp a healthy perspective of the part of life we call death.

Being said, the album is intended to be upbeat yet address personal stories that confront adversity and angst.  The music is soulful, thought provoking, and clever.

Christopher Dale

Singer/Songwriter – Americana/Pop/Rock

“Christopher Dale writes convincing lyrics that are then sung in one of music’s most beautiful voices. This man’s got acoustic soul.”
– Caley Cook, City Beat

When you’ve pulled a Playboy magazine out of your backpack for kindergarten “show & tell” and spent many a high school weekend partying south of the border, in the bars of Tijuana, you have stories to tell. Christopher Dale is an older, bigger kid now who just finished a show with his mom and aunt next to him on stage, making free pancakes for everyone on a flat iron grill. His songs make you sing, dance, laugh, cry – remember, and his shows are all over the place.

Spawned from San Diego’s premier singer/songwriter venue Java Joe’s with the likes of Jewel and Jason Mraz. Described as McCartney & John Mayer meet Neil Young & Tom Petty at a Jimmy Buffet concert, Christopher Dale mixes his many influences together to form one uniquely engaging artist. The consummate traveling troubadour, he captures your attention with his honesty, heart, and fun-loving energy. Catchy songwriting and a remarkable vocal range coupled with candid storytelling and an unparalleled devotion to entertain the audience makes each C. Dale live performance a memory that sticks to you like Super Glue!

“Christopher Dale, is an enormously gifted songwriter who has the ability to translate something profound while singing about ordinary stuff. And, often with a sense of humor and fun.” – Chuck Schiele, Table Hopping CNY

Several early-career venue residencies, critically acclaimed CD releases, 11-career San Diego Music Award nominations, and the desire to support his community’s needs, have made him a local favorite. Movie/TV placements and relentless touring have pushed him beyond his homegrown boundaries and into the hearts of music lovers worldwide. One female fan from Ohio who went as far as riding a unicycle two miles, in rush hour traffic, to the station of the #1 morning radio show San Diego and hijacked an hour of live airtime plugging the music of her favorite singer/songwriter made him infamous!

Realizing the important role music played in his own childhood, Dale strives to reach children and share with them the same gift. At home, and on the road, he periodically visits local elementary schools to play his acoustic guitar and sing in the classroom. The desire to help kids and to support his community also keeps him involved with various charitable events, as well as a dedicated fundraiser/ambassador for Smile Train, a global organization that provides 100%-Free, cleft surgeries to children in need

Bob Banerjee

A native of Calcutta, India, Bob came to the US at a young age. He chose to learn violin in 5th grade because it was the lightest instrument to carry – and he could annoy almost anyone when he played it. His musical legend grew as he outgrew 20 years of classical violin to go to the “dark side” of playing improvisational performances in country, bluegrass, folk, reggae, jazz, rock, and Celtic

Jim Asbell & the Tropiholics

Atlanta-based Jim Asbell & The Tropiholics are a national band ready for any show-big or small.

John Patti

From Singapore to Key West, Manhattan to the Caribbean, crowds of all ages and nationalities have seen John Patti bring the steel pan to the forefront of musical entertainment. Whether in a solo performance or collaboration with bands, John’s intriguing stories and skillful performance leaves long lasting and memorable impressions with any audience.

With a true artist like John tapping the mallets, the pans take on a new life of melodies and styles. His ability to blend Latin percussion and steel drums into various genres creates a refreshing twist on popular hit songs and an exhilarating performance guaranteed to get anyone dancing in their seat.

Originating from Baltimore, Patti ‘s musical journey started early on as he played his first set of drums at age three and continued to learn drums and percussion through elementary and middle school music programs. By ten, he came across his first set of steel pans and quickly started experimenting with the instrument and teaching himself by ear.  By age 11, John was publicly performing across the state of Maryland and into the Mid-Atlantic region for special events.

John initially studied music at West Virginia University before pursuing business at the University of Maryland, where he graduated with two degrees in marketing and logistics. He continued to pursue his musical passion and after graduation, performed across the world on luxury cruise ships where he learned the art of production, entertainment and how to craft a captivating show.

In 2005, John entered the studio to start his first solo album Above the Fold, which was released in 2006 as his first take on island jazz. John’s latest releases Cabana Breeze (2010) and A Calyp-Soul Christmas (2012) are classic examples of John’s  “Island infused jazz and blues” sound.  Many songs from both albums can be heard daily on Sirius/XM Radio’s “Radio Margaritaville”.

Over the years, John’s popularity has grown across the nation for his unique take on the steel pan. John’s expressively smooth sound elevates the steel pan from its perceived impression as just an island instrument to one of versatility across many musical genres.  Rock, jazz, blues, country, funk and even classical are all rejuvenated when John combines them with the tropical sound.

Throughout his career, John has had the privilege to collaborate, record and share stages with artists such as steel drum masters Robert Greenidge, Ray Holman and Andy Narell, guitar innovator and legend Les Paul, country star Jerry Jeff Walker, Grammy nominated singer Nadirah Shakoor, Michael Utley and CMA finalist for “Instrumentalist of the Year” Doyle Grisham.

In the coming years, John looks to continue his success in expanding his “island infused jazz and blues” sound into theaters, festivals and concert venues across the country and eventually throughout the world.

Isabella Stefania

In the life of country singer/songwriter, Isabella Stefania there is never a dull moment and that’s just the way she likes it. Though she’s grown up on the outskirts of the “Windy City”, Chicago, Illinois, Isabella is a country girl at heart. She’s got a taste for adventure that draws her to the great outdoors but, whether she’s riding ATV’s with family and friends, scuba diving the beautiful green waters of the Caribbean or watching a beautiful sunset the one constant is her music.
Her sound, an original blend she’s dubbed “Island-Country”, not only conveys her music style but exemplifies the natural beauty and easy going spirit that is Isabella. Though she’s just getting started, her rapidly growing fan base indicates great promise for the future. Her original song, co-written and produce by Doug Kahan, “Love’s Not Like That” is receiving great reviews and leaving her fans begging for more.
Isabella’s love for performance began as a toddler. As a dancer, she felt at home on stage and also experienced the joy and excitement of pleasing her audience. Isabella worked diligently and became very accomplished as a dancer and later as a volleyball player. Sadly, an injury all but ended her days of dancing and volleyball but, her love of music was there to fill the void.
Isabella focused her attention on learning guitar, writing and improving her vocals. Her hard work paid off when a family friend referred her to Bernard Porter, Founder and President of PCG Universal in Nashville, Tennessee. Porter invited her to attend PCG’s annual summer bootcamp so she and her biggest fans, her parents, made the trip to Nashville. Porter witnessed Isabella’s talent firsthand and was eager to begin molding this incredible piece of clay. Isabella was invited to attend the elite development program at PCG as an emerging artist and so began the process of uncovering her underlying potential. “She’s exactly what we look for in an artist, the whole package, truly talented. Her sound is really refreshing and new. She’s got a great voice, strong writing potential, a hard worker and she’s beautiful inside and out. Isabella is a pleasure to work with and I know she’s got what it takes to achieve great success in this industry,” comments Porter. Isabella began working with Porter and his team of coaches and providers in 2016 and her progress has been remarkable. Having earned the privilege, she recorded her first single, as well as, her first music video, directed by award-winning film directors, Michael Stryker and Josh Stever for “Love’s Not Like That” and continues to develop her skills as a singer/songwriter with monthly trips to Nashville and performing every chance she gets.
No one knows what the future holds but, one thing is certain, Isabella’s love and skill for making music will continue growing With that, her desire for more adventures and the ability to help make the world a better place will be fulfilled. As she likes to say, “Life is not meant to be lived in one spot. Ships in the harbor are safe but, that isn’t what ships are made for.” With her undeniable talent, strong work ethic, natural beauty, unwavering passion and a fresh, new sound all her own, Isabella Stefania is sailing for uncharted territory…wind in her hair, sun on her face, songs dancing in her head like stars on the water.
Isabella would like her music to influence all ages whether it’s a feel-good sing-along tune or one that speaks to the heart of her beliefs. Her devotion is to being authentic and true to herself and being a positive role model for young women.
Whether she’s deep beneath the waters of the Caribbean or riding  cross-country on a Harley one thing is for certain, there’ll be a song taking shape in her head and we’ll soon be singing along to another easy-going country classic.
